About The Allerton Harvest Home
Annual TraditionThis event is held annually on the second Saturday in September and is a reminder of the close links between farming, food and life in the country. This is very much a ‘local’ day with villagers, their families and friends and many visitors who have previously lived in the Allertons joining together to enjoy a traditional lunch after church. It is also a tradition for the youngsters in the area to serve the food and drink to about 450 people before their own celebrations including Sports, Tea, Fancy Dress and an entertainer who is followed by a live Band.
