Chris Perry Charity Bike Ride
Last year I cycled from Land’s End to John O’Groats to raise money for Weston Hospice, a charity that serves our community. Due to everybody’s generosity I was able to raise £4,000.00 .
This year I am cycling the London – Surrey 100, that is 100 miles around the capital and into the Surrey Hills, those of you familiar with that part of the world will appreciate the challenge of Box Hill. The event is taking place on the 29th July this summer. I am raising money for the Anthony Nolan Trust whose focus is on saving the lives of people with blood cancer, this charity is very personal to me, so I would like your help in raising a few pounds for this worthwhile cause. Together we can all help in eradicating this life-threatening condition.
No matter what the amount is you are able to spare, every penny counts. For those of you with broadband (that works 😊) please use the link below,
If you would prefer to pay by cheque these should be made payable to Anthony Nolan and either sent to Anthony Nolan Events Team, Anthony Nolan, 2 Heathgate Place, 75-87 Agincourt Rd. London, NW3 2NU, or drop off the cheques at my house, Allerton Lodge, Top Road. credit card details can be phoned through to 0303 303 3000.
Please mention my name if sending the payments directly.
Thanks for your help!

An Auspicious Occasion!
On the evening of Thursday, 20 Oct the great and good of Somerset gathered in the Conference Suite of Taunton Rugby Club for the presentation of the Chairman's Award for Community Service to those recipients nominated by a multitude of organisations within the County. The recipients spanned a wide age group and the reasons for each award were many and varied.
Joy Morse has been made a MBE in the New Year' Honours List for her services to the community in Allerton. Congratulations and thanks for all her hard work over many, many years from her neighbours in the villages.
