ngs gardenIn 2014 there will be 3,800 gardens opening for charity in the whole of England and Wales 110 of which will be in Somerset.

Three very special gardens in Stone Allerton will be open for two days this year. These are Badgers Acre (Lucy Hetherington & Jim Mathers), Greenfield House (Vivien & David Bull) and Old Chapel House (Pat & George Hacker).
Please do come and visit these beautiful cherished gardens where you will be warmly welcomed. Enjoy delicious homemade cakes and tea at Greenfield House.

 

If you cannot a make it on the open days, the garden at Badgers’ Acre is also open by appointment until the end of June.

Last year the NGS donated £2.1 million to charity, major beneficiaries include Macmillan Cancer Support, Marie Curie Cancer Care, Help the Hospices and Crossroads Care. Gardens in Somerset raised a total of £65,000.
